The Client
MC Graphics, established in 1991 in Nashville, TN, is a full service
graphic and advertising agency targeting small businesses. They produce
high quality, eye dazzling print projects of all kinds, offering everything
from photography, advertising, design, print and production.
The Need
MC Graphics introduced a line of quick turnaround business cards,
tailored to real estate firms and other specialty businesses with a high
demand for cards. The key to the venture work was being able to take orders
and make changes up to the last possible moment. For this reason, MC
Graphics needed to be able to deliver files to the printer at 11 pm and
pick up the finished cards to deliver to customers by noon the following
day.
The Solution
Courier did two things to meet MC Graphics needs. First, we scheduled
a bi-weekly business card run of between 81,000 and 270,000 cards. Second,
we used gang running of several different products on a single press run
to lower costs and complete the job more quickly. As a result we have
been able to guarantee 10-hour turn-around.
